I had been to Sagar Hindu Hotel & Restaurant with my family in 2013 during Dussehra in the month of October and had lunch at this restaurant.
It was a good plan to have lunch while enjoying Durga Puja of Kolkata. We were looking for some Indian food restaurant which is little bit sturdy to find as there are only few restaurants in this part of the city. We ordered simple Indian foods which include dal, veg pulao, chapatti, mixed veg and curd.
The taste was good in real Indian flavour. But the best thing which I liked about the food of this restaurant is that it was neither too oily nor too spicy but still the taste was good.
Apart from main course food items, they also have beverages, juices, and refreshment and snacks items in their menu which comprises of more than hundred stuff all together.
The restaurant was quite big with simple interior with neat and clean environment. The decorum and ambience of the restaurant is descent as most of the visitors in the restaurant working people or families like us. The service is fast by their staff personnel. The restaurant is a busy place but still getting the table will not be an issue. You can try food in this restaurant if you are looking for Indian stuff.
