Sathiya is a well made romantic movie(after a long time). The story of Sathiya is so real and different you can relate to it. The director has done a good job of keeping the story real. For a debut director, Shaad Ali has done an excellent job of keeping the audience gripped throughout the movie with a fast moving storyline. Of course he it helped that he had a talented cast in Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi. Both have done a good job. The music by A. R. Rehman is very refreshing. The songs are picturised very well.
I think the movie is intriguing for the following reasons:
The story is very real. Gives something for the romantic couples to think about.
The movie is entertaining because of the refreshing music and wonderful picturisations and good story line.
Excellent performances by the actors.
Sathiya demonstrates that it is still possible to make a commercially successful movie and keep the story real.
