SUCKS. Review on Saathiya

Finally saw this mega-hit over weekend.

We indians cant get enough of these mushy movies,is it?.This movie was plain bakwaas ,dont know what was so special.It was so majorly hyped that I eagerly went in to see what was so different,but I came out exactly with the same question unanswered .Its time we as audience grow up from these silly sugary dreams .What was this movie all about? Love,marriage, reunion,tears, forced nightmarish emotions ,naach-gaana all the same old crap stitched up all over again.Our nation and bollywood cant think anything beyond Love and romance.All the topics in Hindi Films revloves just around this matter ''FINDING TRUE LOVE''in life .

''DIFFERENT'':

Q:what was different?

A: It was shot entirely in India without any Swiss and other glossy locales. Wow, what a justification,for being different.These are the only things our directors can think differently ,either shoot in heaven or in hell or spend millions on costumes,bangles ,sarees and there goes the branding of being a different movie.Talk of story ,script it draws a blank .Unless we dont rise above this low mentality we will always be making such cheap movies and bollywood will only hold the record for churning out movies,but never a movie that can be showcased in international arena.

NATURAL ACTING:

Whenever a new pair is cast in lead role, the first movie usually clicks and is termed as innocent natural acting.First when Salman-some female was cast in Maine Pyar Kiya I heard the same old phrase,next Aaamir-Juhi in QSQT ,Hrithik-Patel in KNPH,Ash-Salman in Kuch Kuch Hota Hain,Shah Rukh-Mahuri in ... examples galore .We as a nation are so kinky enough to see the permutation and combination of pairing lead actors-actreess that it is one of the essential ingredients for making a hit movie and this movie is just another phenomenon in the same vien.

Indian audiences are still like 16 year old star struck kids to be swayed by skin, charming looks,colour ,sexy outfits and worse is we think that is natural acting.Grow up guys !

STORY and SCRIPT:

Plain bullshit. It is a common story of kids romancing , eloping and finally lying on the bed of thorns.

Enough of this plain old drama,not again ,PLEASE.On screen I saw audience forcing themselves to empathise with the love torn couple,but in reality the same people in society would have called them immature brainless couple drawn to each other by lust.So much for reality.

These romantic movies are the root for corrupting young minds in India with misplaced far etched notions of ROMANCE and TRUE LOVE .

Hope all the bahus dont start crying and engraining their woes over calenders from now on .

TO sum up,this is a pretty ordinary movie with new faces and, just being branded different by colour blind audience .
