The Ryan International School is beginning to get a very bad reputation thanks to the recent murder of a 7-year old student at the Bhondsi, Gurgaon branch of the group. Horrifyingly, the CBI have now arrested a 16-year old juvenile of the same school for the murder! In January, 2016, a 6-year old student was drowned in a water tank at the Vasant Kunj, Delhi branch of the same school and the police booked the principal and class teacher for negligence. Founded by Dr. A.F. Pinto in 1976 with its first school in Mumbai, the group has grown into an 186 branch school in 18 states across India and several branches abroad. Though reliably good in academics and curriculum, the last few years has given the group a bad name due to several controversies and even criminal activities in several schools. The relevant authorities need to take complete cognizance and get systems in place not only in this case but across the fraternity so that our children are safe and secure.
