Dear Friends,
I am holding Royal Sundaram Policy DTM0002633000101 & Claim No is HRA0282062.
This is family floater plan sum assured 500000+ 100000 Claim. Family member self spouse & one daughter. By god bless I was admitted in Max hospital in Gurgaon(ALPS Ltd) by 9 August 2018 & discharge 11 August. It was second year of this policy there was no any claim from my side.
In this duration I have many times call to Royal Sundaram for pre approval for medical treatment but response is very negative only saying I am checking with team & share shortly but it was very shocking time three days passed but no positive update, doctor's treatment was continued. I was patient many times discussed with my 3 months daughter on given toll free no of given TPA. Response was very unresponsive.
After the final stage go to discharge time, same process followed, from hospital representative many times call him send email but no response, from morning 9AM to 7PM still followed for this activities because I was money, it my trust I have a Royal Sundaram policy it was my confidence but getting very negative news from TPA of RSA, by god I have payment to hospital & discharge with family with 3 months daughter.
In second phase I was tried with reimbursement all document shared with given office address & daily follow-ups with customer representative for policy claim because I was taken from my friend for return.
In 3rd sep 2018 getting call from Royal Sundaram & very rudely talk with me regarding Royal Sundaram policy, no is 044-71177117 he said I ll not process your claim
I applied for claim which was registered on 14th August 2018(Mind you, during the entire term from[ protected I never claimed for a reimbursement for any illness.
I was informed it will take 15-20 working days for the claim to process.
Today 9th Sept 2018 I received a letter addressed by Royal Sundaram & informing me that the claim cannot be processed due to some reasons.
I am regularly paying the annual policy amount of Rs 11500 and odd* for two years so I don't understand the reasons for the rejection of my claim. Another point that I would like to raise is that the field officer who is deputed is not from a medical(MB BS) background, he does not know how to write.
I feel cheated by this fraud company(ROYAL SUNDARAM). I advice all of the new customers to not enroll for any product of the above company.
This statement from your executive lost your company’s reputation from my mind. I must mention that I was fool who changed my Health insurance from HDFC Agro to Royal sundaram before two years back. Frankly speaking your employee requires lessons for Customer relationship and communication behavior.
Finally after suffering from this unfortunate hospitalization and uncooperative response from your company’s management side I am writing this towards proper and faster early settlement for my claim by proceeding for closer of my friend money .
I have paid to Max Hospital approx 70000.
I have no more option is here from my side only two side is pending first IRDA second is consumer court because I have no more money for this amount to pay, policy purchased time you have many times called to me & said entire medical treatment is covered because 500000 SA but getting very bad feeling from your company.
I hope you will understand my feelings and process faster with needful doings in direction of claim settlement.
