The delivery was good. They took 3 hours. The actual time was only 30 minutes but waiting time was long as they used to attend other customer for delivery. Very simple delivery no such big celebration like a car buying experience. That's okay no complaint. Only one thing I noticed that, the best way to buy a Royal Enfield is, please visit the website, customise your bike and place an order. In that way it's easy and dealer will not get any chance to keep you wait or charge extra for accessories. For example, if you go with a tourist seat, it's cheap when you configure your bike in web but 3k more when you buy as an extra in showroom. If you can skip, please deny that round navigation system. Now a days they made it mandatory as no-one wanted to buy it. Keep this in mind and thank me later.

Drive experience: Its good and normal as expected. No such extra agile strong power as mentioned by some reviews. Definately the riding style and comfort is the USP and no doubt Meteor is the most comfortable ride for me on a bike so far. I have also upgraded it to memory foam now so it's 20% more comfortable compared to default seat. I have also installed a custom made backrest fitting so the backrest is exactly 1.2 inches longer than previous setup. Since I made it custom, nobody can notice the fitting like an Amazon brought rod for same purpose. The torque is available in low and mid so it's fun to ride in city. You still can feel low power when you cruise highway. The bike never goes 115 or more than 120kmph. I believe the bike is capable of speed beyond but Royal Enfield has locked it due to avoid few downsides.

1. The bike doesn't have an external oil cool system and still depends on air-cooled system. So that may cause high damage if rave the engine high.

2. Royal Enfield knows its customer expectations so they made the new engine with a limit and save costs on so many additional things.

However the overall experience is good. I expect the Speedometer should be little bigger, now it's just the same size of a Galaxy watch. Although I don't like to pay additional cost for a LED screen and also I don't like them at least on bike. The back shockers are really stiff and just adjust it to 2nd position for optimum performance. When you go slow it's not an issues in city. But when you cruise highway and post sometime the shocker oil got hot and even tighter, there you can feel very uncomfortable. I am still searching a best option to overcome this. The option to put a smoother shocker is not a great idea as this is a cruze bike and will lost the balance. I have seen so many guys has put the classic shockers on Meteor but I am still researching on it and considering few other options, so I can have good driving dynamics with comfort. I upgraded to a good LED light myself. Upgraded AOH switch on-off. All these upgraded I personally done so this is not be noticeable from outside. No components installed outside. The 1st & 2nd service was okay but I noticed very bad oil during 3rd service while only driven 6000km. I have informed Royal Enfield about it. Luckily no internal damage in clutch plate or other components. I never opted for the "Tapet Adjust" scam in service centre. I personally believe and read the Royal Enfield documents that the new J series engine now use "Timming chain" instead of "shafts". So tapet adjust is only required when needed, not in every service. But most service centre do it make more money. Rest everything is good so far, no regret to have it and not much excitements as well. A good semi powerful comfortable ride bike compared to all available in 1 to 3lakh segment when you want a cruzer. Also the new 2024 Yezdi Roadster now is a tuff competition for this bike. I would buy that any day. But that double silencer and 11ltr fuel tank, I couldn't digest.
