Hi. Its a pleasure and honor to write my experience on this bike. Actually this vehicle comes under bike segment however it should always be referred as bullet. This brand is there in India for more than 50 years now and the bullet models they have manufactured is commendable.
I purchased this bike in Jan 2014. The respect and honor of owning RE Desert storm is awesome. This is like owning a mercedez benz or audi in car segment. The joy and respect that you get on road while driving this vehicle is beyond explanation.
The new feature available are self start, improved mileage, wider tyre, ABS specifically available in desert storm model. Suspension can absorb almost bigger port holes and engine is more refined and powerful.
The balance on road is composed and if driven between 60-70 speed in city is effort less. However desert storm is specifically used for highways as engine has been designed for longer duration drives.
Prices have increased however worth spending on this model. Waiting has reduced drastically after Chennai plant commencement.
My suggestion please gain respect by owning this vehicle. Goes without saying. The best in class Royal Enfield Bullet.
