Duster is offering Rs.60, 000 off on all its models. It's a part of exchange bonus. It's just a formality not very strict. They may also give Rs.5000 insurance discount too. That makes it 12.95 lakh on road( Original 13.60 lakh) in Mangalore city for diesel, RxL( Op). Ecosport diesel Titanium( Op) is 11.85 lakh on road.So it makes Duster just 1.1lakh more than Ecosport which is a bargain.
I think this offer may extend till Dec 2013. Duster is usually readily available compared to Ecosport where you have to wait for 10-12 months for Titatnium( O). Ecosport got over 30, 000 bookings agreed. Now let them give the figures of cancellations. I guess it will be at least 20-25%.
Ecosport Titanium( O) has 6 airbag, ABS, climate control, leather seat and Microsoft sync system. Duster RxL( op) has all features of Ecosport excluding few like no climate control, no sync system and no leather seat, but it gets 2 airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, Touchscreen navigation+ music system and most important its bigger, safer and spacious than Ecosport and a true compact SUV.
What did I do? Just bought it.
