Friends,
The Reliance Mobile cannot be treated as a mobile. Its a limited mobility phone. As its using the CDMA technology, we could not use it as a true mobile(GSM), where we could use it when going to places.
Not Clear in their Approach
The other thing comes into my mind is that even though there are so many rumours spreading about the reliance now a days, they havent cleared the doubts. The fact is that, if we are searching in the net for reliance mobiles, there is no official site for them. How could we get the details we want? Many unofficial sites are giving different details about the reliance.
Monopoly
The next thing is that, there is a chance for them to monopolise the indian mobile industry. That will ultimately affect the consumers in the future.
Service
The positive things about the RIL is that the rates and other services, they ensure to give are the best one could probably imagine. Almost all the latest mobile phone services are being offered by them. Also the rent is not that bad, compared to others.
What after 3 Years?
They are not sure what to expect from them after 3 years. After 3 years, the mobile handset will be given to us, thats for sure. But what are their future plans? Is there any chance for the checking their tarriff plans in the future(before 3 years)?
What to du with old GSM Phones?
The main thing is that we will have to throw away the old GSMs handsets for subscribing to reliance. Other problem is that as far as I know, the reliance has got 2 kinds of Handsets for supplying. Is other CDMA phones available here in Indian market for those who likes a change?
