I purchased the JIO 4G sim on 5th September, the day when JIO launched its 4G network. It took more than 10 days to activate my sim. This was the first angry moment on JIO. So, during the spell of 10 days I bought a JioFi worth Rs 2000 and it got activated the very next day. But initally the speed of JioFi was around 4-5 Mbps, though the speed was good for my work, but it wasn't a 4G speed. But the JioFi speed was also not stable. After 10 days when my Jio SIM got activated I inserted it in my Redmi 3S Prime as it has 4G VoLTE support and begin to use 4G. Initially 2-3 days the speed was same as that in JioFi i.e 4-5 Mbps, after that the speed started touching 15-20 Mbps and some good days it reached the highest upto 32 Mbps. Almost, 70-80% of the time the JIO speeds were stable and I almost consumed more than 1GB data daily. After that the JIO placed a limit of threshold of 4GB, after which speed will reduce to 128 Kbps. It was OK for me because I reach upto that limit very certainly. But a very very annoying moment was calling. For first one month only 2 calls were connected, this was the most frustrating moment and my anger started increasing day by day. I have to wake up till 1:00 AM to get my call connected to JIO customer services because at day even I tried more than 4 hours continous to call their customer support, I never get a response from them. I raised a complaint within 20 days of sim activation of the call drops but got the problem solved resolution after 15 days. Poor and annoying services. Even from a week before I have been experiencing a severe issue on JIO network, the net accessibility becomes zero every 5-10 minutes, so I thought it would be my hardware problem, so I went on for inspection of my mobile device but it was ok, I factory reset the phone too but still the same issue. So finally I again called at JIO care and most surprisingly they picked my call in the first time itself, They noted my complaint and said me to be resolved within 48 hours. Now hope JIO betters it services.
