Jio, one of very suddenly rising companies, meaning to live and promising a digital life, is hardly standing by their promises. With a welcome offer for everything unlimited for three months upto end of December but none of it's services works fine either it's calling or the 4G internet or customer support.
With a very revolutionary idea to make calling charge-less, jio was launched promising that no amount will be charged for calling to any network around the country and is true but the problem is that that the network is so busy that it is really a tough task to call anyone as most of the times I receive a reply that all networks to this route are busy and call does not go. After trying hours sometimes when call goes, there is so much possibility of call drop and calling again no more be a good idea.
As a worlds largest 4G only network, jio offered very low rates for data packs like 50 rupees per GB and decreasing with more usage but instead of 19-20 Mbps internet speed the speed is hardly 100-200 KBps and most of the times it is not even that much. Internet speed on 4G network of jio is equivalent to internet speed on 2G network airtel or vodafone. And while in any market or dense area a one can not at all expect enough speed to even open a page. The downloading speed is so bad that it takes hours to download even a 100 MB file.
Apart from all that, the customer support is also very bad, as for first, it takes hours to talk to any representative. If there is any problem or query and it is needed to talk to any customer care representative, the queue is so long and representatives are so less that a one has to wait hours to get a chance to talk to them. The service is very bad.
Overall, the offers are really very attractive but services are very bad. It is usable till the time it is free but not if any payment is needed not atleast till the time the quality of services get better.
