Never buy electronics items in Reliance,
First I went to buy a canon ink tank printer after doing market research I went and asked him to bill, in the meantime some other sales exec came and recommended for HP brand stating it is much better than canon and they have offered, believing him I bought that and they made me a fool and sold extended warranty.. which costed 3 thousand extra than canon printer.. after coming home I realised it’s one of the worst printer.. it can’t print back to back, we have to feed it manually, and it takes 10 min to warm up to print first copy, after 10 pages it will reset.
In the store, they will have dozens of sales reps idle and their job is to fool customers by saying they are the best in discount and finally you end up paying more than the market price as they make you buy extra things like extended warranty from reliance digital which is utter waste.
I bought a HP laptop 2021 December 6th, market price of it was 1, 24, 000. I ended up paying 1, 45, 000, they made me a fool and sold an extended warranty for 3 years for an additional amount of 22k, at the time of buying they said I need not go to HP for any service and I can go to Reliance, within the first week we realised that Mike is not working when I went to reliance they asked me to go to HP service centre.
In the next 2 months, the screen started showing horizontal and vertical lines due to manicuring defect., again they asked me to go to HP and Reliance will take care of any problems after 1st year., and I literally fought with HP for such a lousy product and got the screen replacement.
And with another 3 months screen got the same problem, again the same story. From my knowledge Reliance is selling some seconds products from the manufacturer in my case it’s HP.
What I recommend is don’t buy any electronic goods from Reliance, quality is a question, secondly please don’t fall into the trap of sales reps and buy anything they recommend, if they are strongly suggest some other product it’s for their benefit and profit but not for you.
Thirdly don’t buy any extended warranty, it’s just a trap to extract additional money from customers, you should read the terms and conditions you will be fainted and it covers only manufacturing defects, any manufacturing defect in the product will come in the first year itself, buying an extended warranty for covering manufacturing defects alone is of no use, the benefits you get out of this extended warranty is just peanuts because it covers only some percentage on service charges only which will be in few hundreds only.
After paying so much I went through this frustration 3 times in one year. It’s waste of time.
It is my honest feedback, and I expressed what I went through and nothing else.
