BSES Powersurfer Internet Connection:: This is what I had opted for last year and had signed in for a subscription for 2 years
After a full payment of 15 k. It had claimed to provide the best internet service. My initial days with the internet were great
Because at that particular time it turned out to be better than the dial-up headache. No wonder it did give a good internet
Experience initially but started showing a not so good performance later on - the speed slowed down.
Lately my experience with the internet and BSES (which is now Reliance) has been terribly bad. Last month the internet
Connection was totally down for 8 continuous days. Kept contacting the support but everyday a new complaint was registered
And finally I had to speak out with the Customer Head and then my problem was resolved. But still the speed I got is not worth
Revealing - u guess?. Now again this month the same problem arises in installments. Every 2 days the net goes down.
Everyday a new reason for breakdown is conveyed; switch problem, wire breaking, server going down etc. etc. Please come up
With better reasons for a change. I was also assured that this time it wont go down again but the next day it had to go down.
The cycle goes this way: You complain -> your complaint is forwarded -> after 1 day the problem is resolved -> net has started
now till you again have some bad luck -> net goes down -> you complain again :this completes the cycle.
Whenever there is an urgent need for internet it does not work.
Excuse Me! We have not paid 15 grands for this kind of service.
Finally today my internet has started. Lets see how long it works.
A few queries I need to ask BSES/Reliance:
Why does the internet mostly breakdown on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)?
Even if the internet works on weekends why is the speed miserable? (you call it Broadband, Right?)
Why do the field engineers dont work on Sundays to resolve hardware problems due to which the net goes down?
Reliance taking over BSES ... Is this the reason for poor service or Does this foretell a better service in future?
Finally, this is all that I can say:
Net Speed: Internet does work at a good speed rarely.
Support/Helpline: The guys sitting there have limited knowledge and ultimately they come down to forward your complaint to
the engineers. All they can do is RELEASE ALL and then RENEW ALL. You guys are so helpful to us...Thanx a million. Guys.
learn to speak and learn to speak well. Please try to rectify problems as soon as possible, else loose customers.
Field Engineers: Please do not disturb! We don't work on Sundays. Is this what you'll mean?
Anyways, these guys can still improve a lot. Lets give them a chance.
