Finally a Good Dragon Movie. Review on Reign of Fire Movie

As a child I saw the movie DragonSlayer.. and that was the last great Dragon Movie.. I had always been drawn to mythology .. unicorns.. pegasas.. dragons etc...I am always waiting for good movies that involve these types of mythologies... now Dragon Heart came out a few years ago and it was OK.. the end was awful.. but the only thing wrong with this movie, Reign of Fire, was that it was too short.. I think we needed a few more really good action sequences.. I think placing in a psuedo-post-apocalyptic future was a great idea and suggesting that dragons were really a part of out past was fabulous instead of placing it in some sort or non-existent otherworld. It made me actually like Christian Bale again as he is so often playing sociopaths like his characters in American Psycho and Shaft..and Matthew Mc(can't spell it) I never saw him as a bad a** until this and I think that shows a different acting range then he is used to. The CGI dragons were definitely the best I have seen and they really put a lot of work into making them terrifying..There is one scene in the movie towards the end that give one an extremely ominous feeling ( I won't spoil it but watch for it).. I know I will be buying this movie for my collection.. you always have to have a god dragon movie handy in a pinch!
