I bought a Redmi 8A one year ago in blue and the 16 GB model. This smartphone is suitable for surfing the web normally and installing simple apps. While using some of the apps, the display may occasionally freeze, but generally, battery life and functionality are average. A phone for light apps and games is not this one. The camera only takes nice photographs in daylight and the sound quality is likewise passable. But I wouldn't suggest you to go for it. I don't find it interesting. Moreover, there's a lot of overheating issues. On top of it, the battery drains too quickly while playing games. I am quite disappointed.
