This is the most unreliable email service, I have ever came across though it comes at dirt cheap prices Rs 200/- per mail ID per year,
The latest the mail servers of Rediff Got crashed on last Tuesday, 04th Oct 2011 afternoon all mail users were facing problem with POP access and their web access at rediffmailpro.com stopped allowing to login.
This has not only happened with rediffmail pro but also with their So called Enterprises Mailing
When the problem reported to Rediff they reacted like they are totally unaware of the problem, and very soon their customer service stopped picking up customers phone calls. When try contact their superiors they confirmed that the problem will be resolved by 5:00 pm (Thank God they accepted that there is a problem). But till next day 05Oct 2011 the problem keep continued and everyone stopped responding at Rediff.
Finally they were able to restore the services on 05th Oct evening, but the email boxes of the users got blank
after trying really hard they responded over SMS that the mails will be populated by evening today. But on 06th Oct 2011 the situation remained same. And they again sent an SMS that it will take another 24 hrs.
Now Today is 08th Oct and Rediff has failed to get the mails back to the user mailboxes, and no one is responding on phone, mails, .
They have no value of importance of any users business mail data
They have no infrastructure to handle such situations.
They have no one responsible to respond to customers
So if you are serious .. and your business emails are important for you, don't ever go for Rediff Mailing solution.
As they run same mailing infrastructure for their free users , Paid Rediffmail Pro Users , and also for enterprise users, just the name has been changed so they can ask you to pay more.
