Red Box
It's a cafe. It's a pub. It's a food corner!
Location:New Link Road, next to Infinity Mall, Andheri West, Mumbai
There's another one at Waterfield Road, Bandra, but this one's spacious, if you travel in large groups!
It truly is all these things.
Let me give you a glimpse:
Ambience: It lives up to its colour! Everything red, and very
interesting decor, what with glass pillars which have been decorated
with red designs of creepers, so artistically. I love this restaurant
for its amazing sense of class. Red seats, and the warmth of the place,
with current chartbusters rocking the place, it is a very lively place
where you can just unwind, and not feel an ounce of boredom!

Food:Well, they have an interesting menu, ranging from Pastas,
Pizzas, Sizzlers, Desserts. And a separate Drinks menu, as is the case
in many plush suburban restaurants.
We ordered a Falafel as our starter, well I didn't enjoy it so much.
The contents looked alien, giving it a quite Arabian look. And the
taste was a little rough on the taste buds.If you're a Falafel fan, you
better try out Oven Fresh in Dadar. lip-smacking food. I will review
it, next time I visit the place, for I can't give you a lowdown on the
prices:)
Ok, the Falafel costs us, Rs.95.But I wasn't all too happy.
We ordered 2 cocktails. The cocktails were quite normal. I ordered a
BLue Lagoon, a mix of Vodka and Blue Curacao liqueur, was quite
normal. But no Wow factor there. My friend ordered a Pinacolada, the
usual, Rum, pineapple and cream of coconut and banana.I guess, it
tasted more like a banana shake.Ok, Rs.185 for my Blue Lagoon and
Rs.160 for the Pinacolada, a lil too expensive compared to what I have
had.
The Pasta was Fussili Arabiata, quite tangy, and they also added red
wine, to give the zing. The pasta was cooked well, was a little raw,
making it chewable. Nice. The quantity was quite amazing. I guess one
order could fulfill three stomachs! The pasta cost us around 200 bucks,
but was quite worth it.

Service: The staff is quite friendly, and very diligent.
They figured out I needed a spoon, and rushed to my help. The boy who
served us was quite adorable! We were ushered in by a sweet lady and
got good seats.

All in all, you can always visit the place if you wan to catch up with
a few good friends, or grab a bite with your boyfriend/
girlfriend, there's trendy crowd most of the times and it's difficult to get a seat on weekends, families come here often, and there's always
the fantastic ambience! So next time you're on the New Link Road, or at
Fame Adlabs catching a movie, just hop skip and jump to Red Box, it
will be worth your money, a lil expensive, but worth it!
