What a trip I had in Ranikhet, a beautiful hill station which lies amidst the Himalayan hills and jungle, a hill station developed by the Britishers during the colonial period.
it was a very nice experience, Ranikhet is connected through road, rail and road, the nearest airport is 115 km away Pant Nagar, little far it is, however it can be easily reached by rail and road, the nearest railway station is at Kath goddam approximately 90 km and it is connected to all the major metros in the country from the station you can take cab and reach. Also by roadways it is well connected, you can get buses to Ranikhet from Delhi, as well from it's neighboring areas.Well, there's a lot of places to see around.This place is surrounded by temples, orchards, among the few notable temples, are jhula Devi temple and Dwarahat, mankameshwar temple also there is one lake called Rani jhel, you can also experience trekking and mountain biking. Sadar Bazar, and one golf course. Ranikhet is add on attraction for people who come to Nainital for a trip.There is lot option for staying from tourist bungalows to hotels, all within budget but since these are very sort after holiday destination so please please make your booking well ahead.You can visit this place throughout the year, as the weather here is lovely. A must visit place.
