Well I am an amateur in reviewing songs of a movie, so kindly consider below review as an amateurish attempt of explaining the description of music. I am hereby presenting the review of an upcoming film 'Ram-leela' whose music had released recently. It was in news due to some postponement of the music release function due to Ranveer Singh's bad health.

Ram-leela has total 10 compositions, wikipedia shows the musician as Monty Sharma(who also gave the music of Saawariya) & Sanjay Leela Bhansali & the songs are written by Siddharth-Garima.

1. Ang Laga de - Sung by Aditi Paul & Shail Hada - Well we all know that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given chance to new singers in his films & he continues his trend. Shail Hada is a find of him, he has earlier sung for him in Saawariya(the title track) & ask me he is a great singer, I have seen & heard him practicing hard when he took music classes in his home. This song has a sensuous feel, and gave the feel of a romantic sensuous evening between the lead characters of film. Aditi has sung very beautifully as it is majorly a female song, pitching in few vocals by male singer. Beats are used appropriately I rate it 4/5.

2.Dhoop - Shreya Ghoshal, this song is again sung by a very talented singer who hails from Rajasthan, This composition has a special feel of wait, like someone is feeling the love, and the wait for her lover to come, and the song is perfectly able to convey the feel through slow beats provided by the musicisn, well accompanied by the beautiful voice of singer. The long call of female voice is perfect match for someone calling the lover, giving the "come & rescue me from the bad world" feel. I Rate it 3.5/5.

3. Ishqiyaon Dishkiyaoon - Sung by Aditya Narayan. Well the singer is definitely talented and he has proven it over the time, and he is the best match for this kind of music, but as far as I am concerned, I think that this song is the weakest composition of the album. It has the feel of rock mixing folk music, but lyrics and some notes fails the expectation one can expect from a SLB movie, though it's still much better than many of today's generation songs. I rate 3/5. This song maybe looks like the theme song for the hero of our movie who just falls in love with a meethi chhhuri.

4. Laal Ishq - Arijit SIngh. This song is sung by the same singer who has given us the beautiful song of'Tum Hi Ho' from Aashiqui 2. How can I forget his name! This song is probably the slowest song from the album, but nonetheless a food composition, a feel of local setting and describes the nature of Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat aka Love, various nature of love, and gave a feel like the trademark song for a Majnu or Ranjha or Romeo type character. I Rate it 3.5/5.

5. Lahu Munh Lag gaya - a solo song from Shail Hada - Well it is a nice composition, the starting of song gave the feel of'Nimbooda' song from HDDCS, but then it goes the other way, the folk starting but then it turns to be a violent composition, explaining the negative emotions of a lover, who just wanted to get his love back. Beats and folk touch is intact. The song's lyrics perfectly adapted to the situation this song might be coming in. I rate 3.5/5.

6. Mor Bani - Sung by Osman Mir & Aditi Paul - Have again the feel of classic song, the original touch of locales, sung beautifully by Osman & Aditi. Musician used help of local Indian instruments alongwith supporting beats, a nice composition. I rate it 3.5/5.

7. Nagada Sang Dhol - Shreya Ghoshal & Osman Mir. Well I must say that this is the best composition of the album, feeling, beats and ultimate music, Shreya gave her best and the chorus is full on. This gave the feel of'Dhol Baaje' from HDDCS, since the music and lyrics make use of same pattern. I will rate 5/5.

8. Poore Chaand - Solo by Shail Hada. This song is again a slow composition, and has the feeling of separation, gave the feel like hero and heroine are separated and remembering each other, it gave the feel of'Tadap Tadap' of HDDCS, though that song was a classic and no one can catch that composition. The singer enhances the feeling of separation by his vocals. I rate 3.5/5.

9. Ram Chahe Leela - Bhoomi Trivedi - well this is a different composition, a real different one, kind of modern Ramleela song, rock music with english wordings used in the lyrics, fast music and beats. Then classical style is used, a definite must-listen, item song of Ram-leela. Sung nicely by Bhoomi, I rate 3.5/5, maybe it could come as an escape/run song where the hero-heroine is running away from the society.

10. Tattad Tattad - Aditya Narayan. This is the 2nd best composition of the album, sung in full josh by Aditya, and enacted in full josh by Ranveer Singh. It has the feel of Ram's love which he feels for his love, using the references to the God Ram. A must-listen song, do not miss this one. I rate 5/5

All in all I would rate the whole album as 4/5, its high on beats and gave the feel of HDDCS music, and you should collect this album in your collection. It is high on beats, feelings and true to the soul of film(I don't know the nature of film, but as it looks like from the trailers), and you will get folk music intercepted in between.
