Rajvilas talkies, one of the old theatre available in the Nagpur city. It has been located in the crowdy area of Mahal. I used to see films there when I was a little whiny school boy.

After a gap of years, I went to see movie Raid last week. I previously heard that the Rajvilas talkies has undergone a makeover, so I took a chance.

The outer ambience has complete changed; however the old stinky smell around.

The audience was not to worth to talk; same old story of valgure people. This theatre is not meant to go with family at all. Tickets were low as compare to other multiplexes and theatres.

After entering the hall, I felt the seats were not comfortable at all. It was woody and foam quality was worst.

Then movie started. The silver screen was OK; could be seen be all angles but the sound quality was not up to the mark and treble was heard throughout the movie.

Overall experience was not happy as I would like to have. The tickets of this theatre is low but it's not the value for money.
