I won’t recommend Rainbow hospital, instead choose Motherhood. I want to take my valuable time to help others understand my experience with Rainbow hospital. My personal feeling is that they established this hospital to suck the money from patients and play around with small kids. I had a very bad experience with Rainbow hospital staff and the doctors who treated my child. I will try to highlight a few things which hurt me and my baby.
1) The staff members don’t know how to address the patients – one such incident is when I call customer care for booking the next follow-up, with the doctor he(Mohammad) said the doctor won't’ be available for the follow-up and when I asked for when is she available his response is “How can I know?” with harsh tone – brilliant answer. And when I asked to check with his seniors and let me know then he disconnected my call. Again when I tried to call back from the same number they didn’t respond to my call and then I tried calling from my wife’s number then they attempted the call and passed on to another person(Manjula – I don’t remember her exact name). She is very rude and not letting me explain my concern. She just replied that “Doctor won’t be available” and disconnect the call – Is this the way you people talk to patients when they are in trouble? is this the way you address patients' concerns? I don’t think how you behaved is correct, but I left it with you people.
2) Doctors – I don’t want to mention their names here, but they confused me. Initially, she said it should be treated by both ENT and Pediatrician, and started the treatment but the baby didn’t respond with her medicines then she twisted her words saying that why are you coming to ENT, you should be visiting the Pediatrician. She is not in a position to listen to the concerns that we are trying to explain, she listens to her staff members only. Since I didn’t get a proper response in Rainbow hospital I visited Motherhood hospital where they treated the baby by both ENT and Pediatrician, now the baby is recovered well.
3) Nurses – Nurses were very supportive, but few of them are very rude and very harsh with the baby, not sure whether they are monitored by the senior nurses and guide them on how to behave with a five-year-old kid. They think the five-year-old baby is an adult and they start treating the baby as an adult. Everyone around me was also upset with one of the nurse behavior with the kid.
4) Charges – As I mentioned, in the beginning, this hospital is established only to loot the money – one such example is, for fever they did a CT scan, when I show this report in another hospital they laughed silently. Another such incident is the follow-up, even though the doctor examined 2 days back in in-patient and they mentioned that the one-time appointment is valid for 5 day’s but they started charging for the next visit with-in two day’s and started telling about policies.
