A survivor. Review on Rage Of Angels - Sidney Sheldon

I was so bored in life that I decided to go back to go back to my old hobby of reading books and so I took my favorite writer- Sheldon (duh!!) and bought “rage of angels”. The book revolves around the lives of attorney’s and would-be-attorneys Jennifer Parker assisting the lion Robert De Silva, the fiery District Attorney for the country of New York attacking the Mafia –Michael Moretti. Jennifer was a slender, intelligent girl of twenty-four with a face which was rather attractive than beautiful with green thoughtful eyes and reflected courage and pride.

As she is tricked to pass a parcel (it had yellow canary in it) to the main witness which drained the color of his face and found her arrested the next second and gradually it leads to the declaration of a mistrial. Jennifer’s short career as an attorney was finished. It had lasted for four hours.

She tried to get a job in those law firms, which made an offer to her, but none of her calls were returned and decided to share an office with someone. Soon she started working with Ken Bailey and Otto Wenzel. She is also helped by Adam Warner to disbar the proceedings against her and also turns out to be the love of her life. Adam, a graduate from Harvard was a brilliant lawyer. He was physically attractive, charming and his intelligence added an extra dimension to his personality. He had been married to a childhood friend Mary Beth for fourteen years.

After doing the job of delivering summons and others she finally gets a case which changes her whole life, as she has to go back to the same courtroom where the canary incident took place and what could be worse-De Silva was representing the state. But she wins the case and is back to where she belonged to and gains more prosperity .She finally gets to have her office that she had dreamt of, with his loyal friend Ken Bailey. But we cannot forget Adam who can’t be referred to as a friend but the love of her life.

Jennifer and Adam who loved and adored each other but because of the circumstances created by Mary, wife of Adam (Man, I hate her!).

Later, Jennifer is blessed with a son, Joshua who she loves more than anybody is a reflection of Adam. All this time Adam is the senator and is standing in the elections for the president of U.S. She is also helped by Michael Moretti (remember the one who tricked her, the Mafia guy) when Joshua is kidnapped by one of her clients and later gets involved with Michael who loves her more than his life.

Jennifer gets into the Mafia gang by fighting cases for mike’s gang and his friends .the climax, which is full of misunderstandings leaves her alone. Nothing had been able to destroy her even when she only has her carrier and no family. She was a survivor. And she would go on, searching for the elusive-justice.
