It was a Friday evening almost a year back.and the weekend started then. To have a rocking weekend, my husband had booked tickets for us for the movie and that too as a surprise. I am generally fond of watching movies on Friday nights. It was the 10:30 evening show, in one of those multiplexes in the city for which you need to pay Rs 150 minimum charge plus the taxes, located at somewhat 20 kilometres away from the place we stay.

I rushed from the office sharp at 5, had a quick dinner at home…and then we started for the movie. It was a just released movie then. None of us had an idea of how that movie was exactly. The place was crowded in spite of it being a 10:30 show. Finally the movie started.

Our hero takes the newly wed bride to his house….and the pain had started. The husband joins a dance school to impress his wife! .and that too he imitates being someone else. How can something be so out of reac! Everyday he tries different outfits; he even changes his walking, dressing, speaking style to impress his and only his wife. And the thing which actually sucks is the fact that the wife does not even recognize her husband for once. Oh God where do I go? I came out for a while, took a coke and some corns…and went back again. And that too it is a Friday night. My weekend is in the verge of getting spoiled.

Our lady falls in love with her dance partner and even plans to elope with him. And our hero still does not disclose that it is him and the imitation continues.

Then one fine day, while seeking God's blessing in the temple, a sudden feeling comes to her that her husband is her "rab", her God, and she murmurs "yahin mere rab hai…". And the movie ends a happy ending.

Was very hard to remain seated….I am generally a patient person. But it does not help sometime.

The movie casts Shahrukh Khan As Surinder Sahni / Raj, Anushka Sharma. As Taani, Vinay Pathak as Bobby Khosla, M K Raina as Taani's father, Manmeet Singh as Raju mechanic.
