Very Disappointing & Lame Movie. Review on Ra One

I was enthusiastic enough to watch Ra.One having lots of expectations from this product. But what I got sadly was a COLD TURKEY and a damp-squib.

I don't want to indulge myself into story-telling, because being honest there was not much story to begin with . its just that two characters from a video-game came out in the real word and the good one tried to finish the bad one getting succeeded in the end. trust me thats what Ra.One's story is, so amateurish, dim-witted and non sensical.

Rajni Kant's ROBOT was a gem of a movie if we compare it to RaOne. ROBOT had a high quotient of entertainment, which RaOne clearly lacks.

There is no connectivity in the screenplay.script seems shallow, tacky and aimless serving no purpose.

Special effects are not that exceptional especially if there is no such solid foundation backing them, hence they seem forced and out of the place gimmicks.

Chammak Challo song is just slightly above average but never create sensations like Munni or Sheela at all.

The film lacks proper foundation and goes endlessly in no direction. Rajni Kant's role was a big sour thumb as a guest appearance, because it had no damn logic at all.

Kareena turning a vamp looks too childish. The title role of Ra.One has no such impact or identity.it was divided between an unknown actor and Arjun Rampal who appeared in a sketchy role just over the last 25 minutes of the movie.

End of the movie and pre-climax, where a 9 year old kid is handling both characters through a video game totally brings down the impression of this already not so happening movie and made it looklike an amateur and kinda shallow aimless product.

I wonder how on earth this film got a U Family certificate where it has lots of shameless dialogues that were mouthed even by the female kareena kapoor like "Teray Baap Ka Bora .teray Bhai ka Bhochra" moreover the same dialogues mouthed by Srk again in another sequence.also the kid laughing at & mouthing condom dialogue, crotch grabbing and breast-touching scenes should NOT be allowed in a film that has U certificate that makes it suitable to watch for whole family.very shameless indeed.

This film also has some elements of racism in a subtle way, like south-Indians been shown eating noodles with curd coupled with some other taunting racist stuff  and also an attempt of making fun of the south language in the name of comedy.

Shahrukh and Kareena have not shown anything new  that they have not done before.same routine expressions, body language and performances.nothing that stands out at a performer's level.

The kid was confident in his act.  Arjun Rampal was strictly ok, having no impact over the viewers whatsoever. Shahana Goswami was wasted.

Director failed to do justice with such a mega budgeted movie. He is totally failed to create interesting situations like film ROBOT, failed to backup it with water-tight screenplay, engaging narrative, the film goes in a monotone frequency without much sparks, and the viewer clearly miss that vibrant entertainment value that he expected after entering into the theaters.

Overall, do NOT waste your time for this shallow, baseless, storyless and most importantly entertainment-less non-engaging movie.

Shame on these "for-sale" critics like Taran Adarsh of Bollywoodhungama.com who  makes lots of money and fill their pockets writing paid reviews and giving 4.5 stars to such  utter-trash movies like this, and detrack the public  make them waste their  important time and hard-earned money on such lousy & lame movies.
