Quikr site is the worst site if it comes to search for a job. When I update my number on Quikr to get a job I got a lot of calls and the maximum of them are fraudulent, approximately 90% of them are fake.
Let me start with what happened to me.
I got a call from a number and I picked up. There was a lady from the other side saying she was from "resume to fill company."
The conversation went like this.
Me: hello who is this?
Fraud call: hello mam I am calling from resume to fill company which is a data entry company. You applied for data entry jobs in Quikr. Are you interested in doing a job?
Me: yes I am interested. What kind of job you are offering, please explain in detail.
Fraud call: mam you just need to copy-paste resume data in a resume like a name, address, phone number, qualification, etc. You need to complete 700 resumes in a week. And you will get a 15000 per week salary on weekly basis.
Me: 15000 a week! That means 60000 for a month. This amount is so huge for the work you are offering. Is there any registration fee?
Fraud call: no mam! There are no registration fees but if you are unable to complete 90% of your given target which is 700 resume or if it is inaccurate then you have to pay us an amount of rupee 5000 as a fine.
Me: what if I have done 700 resumes and you people say that accuracy is just 10% then what I will do?
Fraud call: no mam nothing will happen like this.
Me: what is payment proof?
Fraud call: mam we will be sent you a government attested legal agreement and your Aadhar and sign will be attached to it.
Me: ok let me search about your company just be online.
Fraud call: no you can't search, you need to tell us right now or you will not get this job.
Me: why you people are making fools of others for the sake of a job.
Fraud company: cut the call.
So after the call, I search for the company. And what I read that many people fall into the trap of this fraud company. These are basically website get registered their domain for a year only and after a year they do not renew it.
Now Question arises about how they are making money.
Actually, they asked for your Aadhar and signature photograph, they then upload it to their legal agreement which consists of a lot of conditions like if you are not able to complete your work with 90% accuracy then you need to pay us.
If people get stuck in their fraud and not able to complete their target then they asked you to pay money or they threatened that they will send you a legal notice with an advocate and police will come to your house as you signed our legal agreement.
People get afraid and pay them money. So in this way, they are making money.
Please don't fall into a trap like this and be aware of these fraudsters.
