Lunch was quite satisfying at Queens on Chruch Street . Came out content and happy!!
First
Ambience- OK kinds, very rustic, has an ethnic feel to it. But the place is quite small. Not ideal for large groups .
Food - The menu is limited, just one side of a sheet. Food is north Indian, both veg & non veg. We ordered butter naan, kadai paneer, mixed raita and veg biryani. Presentation of the food was ok, but the food tasted really good. Naans were very soft and light , unlike naans at Sukh Sagars which are generally greasy and heavy.Kadai paneer tasted good, but wished the vegetables and paneer were cut into small pieces. Mixed raita was excellent and the biryani was light and ok, not very good. Overall felt light , nice and satisfied. Wish to go back again and try some non veg stuff. They also have some good chaats and snacks like chicken and egg roll. Dessert menu was limited to just three items which were not very apealing.
Price - Felt it was slightly expensive, but ok once in a while. All gravies costs from Rs.60 to 90 and naans and parathas costs around Rs 25 to 40. Biryanis from Rs. 60 to 80. Meal for two will come to around Rs. 250/-.
Overall one must visit this place was a light and satisfying meal.
