Friends I took my mother here up on her insistence after she saw an Ad of Qi Spine Clinic in Times Of India, We got an appointment easily on the same day at the vile parle branch. It is a small centre.
Well honestly I was not impressed with what we saw there, the staff working there are only young physiotherapists and that too freshers or with very limited experience.
At first one of them gave us a briefing for a while about the spinal cord. That was followed by a test . the so called'digital spine analysis'. Well it is nothing but a weird looking chair on which the patient is made to sit and is asked to make certain movements and there are probes attached to the chair which draw a so called graph of the muscle movements. this test is more of theatrics and has no meaning.
we simply wasted 1000 rupees on the first day. they then recommended my mom to attend multiple sessions of physiotherapy and exercises which cost 1000 per session.
There is no guarantee of any sort given by them for the cure.
it is simply super expensive and a farce essentially.
My sincere advice is to kindly stay away from it. Stick to a specialist doctor and take the medical treatment. times of india should not print such ads of Qi spine clinic in its newspaper.
