I am a fan of PVR cinemas, the seats and the ambience for a great movie experience are unmatched. If you are planning to watch a 3D movie and can't afford IMAX or can't get tickets for IMAX, I suggest you give PVR a shot.
Earlier Fame Adlabs, it was taken over by PVR cinemas and renovated to give the theatre a really elegant and class appeal. This Cineplex is perfect for movie promotions. The cafeteria is good but expensive. They offer a great variety, right from the classic popcorn, samosa, nachos to brownies by Brownie cottage, pizzas, pastries by idezzerts, salads and coconut water.
Talk about seating, they offer – Normal, prime normal and gold. Gold is a recliner, seats towards the end of the auditorium away from the main screen. Normal seats are the front 3 rows. A prime normal is almost as comfortable as a Gold, you can save money there. Leg spacing is good.
Avoid weekend shows if you are movie fanatic who has to watch at least 1 movie in theatre once a week, it's really expensive – pricing is between 250 and 500. And if you must, then go for a morning show, you'll probably be done in 150 per ticket. Best day to watch a movie at PVR is Tuesday. They usually have offers. A night show costs a maximum of INR 200( 3D) . If you have the patience to wait till Tuesday, then it fits your budget.
