At one time, prestige was the king of home appliances. Think of any kitchenware and prestige was the first name which emerged. From pressure cooker to pans prestige was the pioneer in kitchen industry and a household name.
However, over the last few products, things have changed drastically. The customer service, which is a very important part that comes into play when the product is in use, is one area which just cannot be ignored. And this is where Prestige is not paying attention at all. Today whatever products you buy from prestige, the after sales service is pathetic.
We purchased the chimney but calling the prestige for servicing was a nightmare. First nobody picked phone. And even if somebody does, they just made false promises. In fact, you will not believe, but the guys are not even aware of their own service centers.
What more to write on this. The bottom-line is - stay away from prestige products.
