Premiere Cinema is the channel which shows old Hindi movies most of the time, especially those of 60s, 70s and 80s which I do not watch much.
However, people of those generation loves to watch this channel as they are able to watch movies of their times like my parents. It is good channel for them. Frankly speaking, I have also watched few of the movies of my choice like Shehenshah, Betaab, Muqaddar ka Sikandar and few more.
If you prefer to watch old movies, then this channel is a good option for you in comparison to other similar channels like Sahara movies, Zee Classic, etc because of less commercial breaks, frequency of timings and types. However, there are other movie channels as well which shows all kinds of movies. Old as well new one like Zee cinema, Sony Set Max, UTV action, etc.
There is no problem in finding channels for all types of movies if you are in India. Overall, it’s a good channel for those who love to watch old movies, especially those of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Dilip Kumar, etc while Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor of 80s. In some of the cable connections, this channel may not be available because of non subscription channel package. In some of the local cable channels it comes in 107 while in others it come in channel 117. So, it depends upon the cable connection taken.
