PLEASE DO READ MY CURRENT EXPERIENCE AND SUFFERING FROM PNBHL.
I was living in the USA with a job and my family was in Delhi. My parents wanted to move to a Noida apartment. Where the builder and agent highly recommended taking a PNB housing loan from the Noida-63 branch.
A PNBHL sale agent named Pushpendra, told us initially they would only give us 10 years' tenure for the amount of 45 lakhs since I was in the US & earning in dollars. So he and the branch manager name Vaibhav Mittal told us they would definitely increase my tenure to 30 years if I move back to India, which will decrease my EMI amount. They also told me the interest rate would definitely decrease after my EMI starts.
We also thought about going to different banks, but all of a sudden the builder started pressurizing us to get the money asap, or else we will lose the apartment to others.
So, we had to take PNBHL.
Now, after a few months, in 2019, I had to move back to India due to an H1b visa issue. Then I went to PNB branch 63 Noida to meet Vaibhav Mittal to request to increase my tenure to 30 years so that I can pay a low EMI amount comfortably.
Pushpendra immediately left the company when he came to know I'm in India & seeking tenure extension.
Mital told me to contact customer care. Customer care told me to contact the branch manager Mittal. Mittal always ignores to meet us like all of a sudden he would leave the office whenever he sees us and never come back.
After months like this, he would later deny extending my tenure to 30 years and giving no reason after meeting him more than 25 times
Then called customer care several times and they also rejected.
I'm a middle-class sole income holder who lives in 2 bedroom apartment in Noida who pays Rs. 57, 000 EMI for the last 2 years, which is more than my salary. NO ONE middle-class family in INDIA can afford this.
Also, they are increasing interest rates after every 4-5 months, on what basis & how? When I contact them they would tell me everyone is paying not only me.
One day a person from their office met me outside & told me Mittal actually did increased tenure for one of his relatives. But don't know why they are rejecting mine.
I'm sold my car and selling other things at my house to pay huge EMI.
Customer care representatives are totally rude & unhelpful. One guy told me to sell my house and live on the streets over the phone.
I lost my job due to coronavirus lockdown, PNB housing is regularly harassing me.
They would tell me my account is NPA for not paying one month EMI, I was like what the heck? and on purpose, they would several times sent me legal notice too asking me to pay additional Rs. 5000.
They are rejecting my re-structuring moratorium for EMI a couple of times saying I'm not eligible.
The whole company, employees, PNB systems are corrupted, make customer's fool, and try to take advantage of other misery.
If only they would have told me before that they don't increase tenure later then I would have never taken any loan from PNB. PNBHL lied just to bring more customers.
I always wanted to switch my housing loan to another bank like SBI, but I am not getting high paying jobs, just decent pay so other banks wouldn't accept.
I'm living a very stressful & mentally disturbed life while these PNB employees enjoy.
I just pray to GOD that they all suffer the same pain one day that I and my family are suffering.
The company is already lost a lot of reputation & funds.
