Terrible Experience - Never Book with Pluto Tours and Travels
I recently traveled to Spiti Valley with Pluto Tours and Travels, and it was the worst service I have ever encountered. I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking with them.
From the start, they promised a dedicated representative for handling everything during the trip. I was in touch with Kuldeep and Jagriti throughout, and it was a nightmare. As soon as we reached Chandigarh, they constantly harassed us for the full payment, despite my assurance that I was making it right away. They also mentioned that we had to pay the driver separately, which was acceptable until the car owner kept demanding extra money.
After promptly paying them, I requested the hotel bookings. They assured me they would share the bookings daily. However, every day when we reached our destination, there were no bookings made. They would scramble to arrange very cheap accommodations at the last minute.
In Kaza, they claimed it was fully booked and arranged a terrible homestay at the last minute, which was inaccessible by car and had no proper arrangements. After three hours of unanswered calls, I finally reached someone on the number I used for UPI payments, and they somehow arranged a family room.
The route to Chandratal was closed, and Sunita had assured us of an alternate stay in Manali. We traveled for 19 hours from Chandratal to Manali, reaching at 1 AM, only to find there was no booking under our name and the hotel was fully occupied. We called everyone, but no one responded until Ritwik answered at 3 AM and gave us another number. It took us another hour to find the place, and they demanded extra money for Manali sightseeing, despite it being included in the itinerary.
The entire trip was a disaster with no communication, no proper bookings, and constant changes to the itinerary after payment. I cannot stress enough how awful this experience was. Do not make the mistake of booking a package with Pluto Tours and Travels.
