Pizza Hut really delivers. Review on Pizza Hut, Panjagutta, Hyderabad

Pizza Hut definitely delivers good when it comes to delivery. I go for a Pizza at least once in a week, I have tried Pizza Corner, Dominos as well. For Pizza Corner, I would say it has the variety but quality wise I did not find it that consistent. Sometimes Pizza will be as good as it can be and at times you just can not have it. With Dominos, my experience has not been that good, to be honest.Pizza Options - Pizza Hut provides variety of options from Simply Veg to Exotica as well as Non-Veg. I as a pure vegetarian can not comment on Non-Veg options. As for Veg ones they have been real good always with adequate amount of cheese and plenty of toppings to choose from - onion, tomaotoes, capsicum, jalapenos, olives, corns, paparika etc.

My favorite is Veggie Crunch, whenever I ordered it, it has always been great. Recently they have started the Indian Flavors as well like Peshavari Chana, Teekha Paneer Makhani. I guess that Indian Flavors does not seem to go well and they have taken out most of them from their menu. But Paneer ones are still available and if you like Paneer then you may like that Pizza. At least try once, you can actually feel the taste of butter along with paneer.Seasonings - Pizza is always delivered with plenty of seasoning - sauce, oregano and red chilie flakes.Appetisers - Main stay of appetisers has always been the trademark Garlic Bread.

I like the variation of it - Cheese Garlic Bread which comes with cheese toppings, when served hot it is as delicious as anything can be. But if its not hot, its just the opposite. Recently, they have introduced some other appetisers as well, but I am yet to try them. But cheese garlic bread will always remain a favorite.Beverages - Pizza Hut delivers beverages at MRP and its a good combination with Pizza, I generally prefer a 500 ML Pepsi.

Home Delivery - It has always been outstanding from Pizza Hut. They would ask for 40-45 minutes but most of the time they will deliver that in 30-35 minutes. In 2 years, it was only once that it took more than 45 minutes and thats because it was raining heavily that day and delivery person's vehicle broke down. When I called up to enquire about the delay, representative promptly apologised and called back after few minutes informing me of the cause of delay. Within 5-10 minutes delivery person was at my door, he told me about the reason of delay and offered me a fresh complimentary pizza.

I looked at him, he was all drenched and all I could do was to thank him refusing any complimentary pizza as I felt this is actually not their fault.Pan Pizza vs Freshizza - These are the two crusts available, I have tried both but I did not like Freshizza that much. I prefer Pan though it is said that Freshizza is prepared from fresh dough at the same time when Pizza has to be prepared.Sizes - As a universal trend, they offer a Pizza in three sizes. Personal which is small, Medium and finally large known as Family. Personal is not available in Freshizza. Thats a problem because if you are adequately hungry, personal pizza alone may not be sufficient and medium may be more than whan you can have.

A solution would be to combine a personal pizza with a portion of garlic bread which has 4 slices. That should be sufficient for single person.Prices - Pizza Hut is increasing the prices these days on regular basis. Minimum price for a veg personal pizza is 65 Rupees these days and to that add the taxes and it will be close to 70. Though home delivery is for a bill of minimum 100 Rupees but they would consider anything around 80-85 Rupees range.

Phone Orders - At rush hours it was hard to place an order on phone, it was busy all the time. At times I had to try more than 30 minutes and on some occasions I even gave up. But I came to know that recently they have outsourced this to a call center. Since then, I have never faced a waiting time to place my order.Interesting Observations - I have made an interesting observation that if is a weekday and I order a pizza in afternoon, it is always better than the ones I order in evening or night. a reason may be the people who prepares that in different shifts or may be the large number of orders in evening may affect quality a bit.

But there is definitely a difference in afternoon and evenings. All in all, I have always been satisfied with the quality and timely delivery. Hope this continues from Pizza Hut :)
