I have purchased this trimmer a year ago and let me tell you all I'm just a ordinary person and thought to trim my beard and I spent around 1, 000rs for Philips trimmer. Although it worked for me for a year and honestly I expected this to work for more than a year. But Seriously I don't mean to offense anyone or the company but It stopped working after few days.
The trimmer comes with a beard comb which is only made more bread more than 3 mm long. I did not find practical usage on using with the trimmer or those having 0.5mm or 1mm of beard. I used to trim once in 3 weeks. The bad thing is battery backup and charging time.
It takes around 10 hours to get it charged and provide me only 30 mins of use on battery. This is not expected from the such brand. I have even seen the charging slot is completely proprietary that means if you abuse the cord much or get rippled then, the trimmer is of no use.
And, then you need to throw it to the dustbin. In most occasion the beard trimmer does not qualify trimming beard if you have long beard. The blades are not that great it can cut your skin if you press against the skin much.
The design is great I love it, The slide-in-off switch is a great design the grip is much suitable for use. It comes with premium plastic and better for indian mens.
I have a complaint regarding the battery backup and charging time. If it can withstand at least 60 mins of trimming then it can be good. Even a slot for external battery would be good. I don't recommend buying this one for 1, 000 rs or more.
Loads of 300rs -500rs of trimmers can do better job but you have to sacrifice on plastic quality and precision. Philips are not that effective and couldn't withstand for a grooming kit.
