I got Philips Coffee Maker HD7450 a couple of years ago. It was available for a little over 1500 bucks back then, and for the price it was a steal. It made good coffee too, especially with coarse grind. It comes with a plastic filter so you don't have to worry about getting filter paper, and replacing them every time you run out of them.
But, as you use it, the coffee maker filters less and less effectively. So no matter how coarse you grind your beans, as time progresses, you get more and more sediments at the bottom of your mug. It is very irritating and leaves a foul aftertaste in your mouth.
Cleaning it is also a little difficult, and you have to descale it often.
My recommendation is to get a more expensive one instead. You invest more initially but the quality of the coffee doesn't go down with time.
