Pepsi Twist, give it a Miss !!. Review on Pepsi

There doesnt seem to be a separate category for pepsi twist, so im gonna review this under the general pepsi category.

Im very much a coke loyalist, and as rule dont go in for pepsi. But I couldnt resist giving this new flavour a try. Pepsi TWIST . Pepsi with a twist of lemon. The labelling is attractive too, with a slice of lemon and and a splash of yellow on the usual blue label ! Quite eye catching I should say .

Ive always felt the main difference between pepsi and arch rival coca cola is that Pepsi has a sweeter taste. Thats precisely why a lotta people prefer the stronger tasting coke ( and I suppose all pepsi fans like the sweet taste)

So maybe this is Pepsi Co's attempt to get tougher and stronger ?? At least that must have been their intention. They hav'nt been too successful.

Pepsi twist is bitter. Terribly bitter. At first sip , it seems okay, but the after taste it leaves.....well, , to me, it tastes like a mix between liquorice ( blech !!! ), and some kinda liquid detergent !! ( honest! ) ( not that im in the habit of sipping detergents but for some reason thats what popped into my head when I sampled it).

Now I recommend u give this a miss. But if indeed, u go by the advertisements, which say '' You gotta try it !! ''.. well, try it if u must. But I must warn ya. do so at ur own risk!

And to be on the safe side, be armed with a glass of water or coke or whatever else maybe ur favorite drink !!

All I can say is this has just reaffirmed my strong affinity for coke. I can tell ya, this is one drink ive crossed off my list.

If only I could figure out what to do with the Extra large bottle of Pepsi Twist , which has been languishing in my refrigerator for the past two weeks ( poor thing is bein avoided like it has the plague or something! ).

Hmm....i wonder if I could try using it as some sort of cleaning liquid.....:-)
