In today's generation online stores is gaining its speed. Paytm has introduced its online mall to speed up their competition but we know that Paytm is well known for its online transaction medium as its slogan is on the edge of mouth of every consumer, retailer 'Paytm karo' paytm has revolutionized the country but it is left back with competition to amazon, flipkart, snapdeal and many more, it was a good initiative taken by Paytm to engage its consumers by launching all in one app. It is already inbuild link on Paytm. But brand equity of other online stores are higher compared to Paytm mall, it failed to create its brand equity. It came late , as it was introduced when other stores has reached its peak.
When I think for shopping my first brand will be amazon then I prioritize flipkart than comes other even snapdeal and shopclues I too consider them but Paytm mall doesn't hit my mind. Newly launched reliance digital and jio mart hits my head but i don't consider Paytm mall.
I have never shopped through this site neither will I in future. Because brand equity is the main thing that company must create in consumers. As I prefer Paytm for my transaction this is the first thing I prioritize then comes phonepe and the list goes on. Some consequence on this platform is that there is limited products, limited groceries, and interface is also unfamiliar, it has not been too long since it came to a competition so it will take time to perfect every detail. Paytm should create brand tag on peoples head by doing unique things as jio mart is trying these days. Jio mart is selling its product below MRP to gain consumers and to attract as if consumer comes once and like the platform their habits will let them to your stall.
