The movie has some funny scenes occasionally.
Karthik Aryan, as usual, played the role of a male victim who carries on with his monologue the controversy of the film arises with the trailer itself with some dialogues.
It exposes the hypocrisy of India because some dialogues or even worse, which represented the word'rape' were present in other Bollywood films example 3 idiots which made fun of that whole speech where they use'bhalatkaar' as a common term.
Casting:
The leads of the film are played by Karthik Aryan whose name is Abhinav Tyagi nickname Chintu Tyagi whos an IIT pass out and works as an engineer in PWD.
Bhumi plays the role of Vedhika Tripathi(Chintu tyagis's wife) whose dream is to leave the small town and settle in a nice city like Delhi. (seeing bhumi after the film Bala is a very impressive change because she looks very beautiful and delivers a decent bit of performance in the film).
Apart from the above two the film also has Ananya Pandey who plays the role of Tapasya, Being a fashion designer she travels to Kanpur to find a plot.
The film also has an important character played by Aparshakti Khurana who is a best friend of Chintu, a friend in need basically who tries to cover your bad things.
Apart from the whole star cast,
The two Characters which made us laugh whenever they came on screen are Shubham Kumar and Rijesh Pandey.
Shubham Kumar plays the role of Rakesh Yadav who is a student in Vedika Tripathi's school and obsessed with her and the other one plays the role of vedikha's uncle who simply lives in her home.
The level of comedy in the film is sometimes good, sometimes disgusting and sometimes cringy.
Things Most people like:
-The performance of the characters Rakesh Yadav and Mosaji.
(They are Funny)
-Characters of the film were created decently especially, Aparshakti Khurana which is like a normal boy who happens to be a Muslim
-The film did not show any Muslim stereotype.
-For the masses, the film has a lot of funny moments
Things most people Dislike:
-Spoilage of old songs
-No proper plot
Like not establishing the town, no proper accent and only some of the words of Kanpur.
Basically the filmmakers didn't understand the Kanpur very well.
