Pathaan is a disappointment for fans of Bollywood action movies. The film is filled with endless action sequences that serve little purpose to the already pointless story. The dialogues are cheesy, and the overall plot is unengaging. I used to be a big fan of this genre, but this type of formulaic storytelling has become tired and stale. I was excited about the comeback of SRK, but the hype around his return is the only redeeming factor of this movie. From the first few minutes, it becomes clear that Pathaan offers nothing new or exciting, and ultimately falls flat. The Bollywood industry should aim to deliver more fresh and engaging content, instead of relying on worn-out formulas.
