I would like to write a review about PSK(passport seva kendras) after I applied for my wife passport in PSK.tambaram (Chennai).I applied under normal category and the passport was received in exactly 38 days(starting application date to ending passport receiving date).This is very good and you can do away with touts/brokers/middleman. TCS staff handled applications very effciently, policeman came for verification in 3 weeks and after that it took another 16 days to receive passport.I also would like to share few points about this PSKs.
a. Do not believe brokers as now they can't enter into PSK and influence passport office staff.Earlier it
used to be a daily affair at shastri bhavan.
b. if you have basic computer literacy, you can do everything on your own.But I paid Rs300/- for
appointment booking to one guy as I could not book by myself.
c. Please do not take any passport photos as PSKs will take your photos and also will not accept our
photos.This is an exception in the case of infants because it is difficult to take a good photo for
infants as they won't be steady.
