I am quite impressed with Bangalore Passport Seva Kendra for their hassle free service and fast paced delivery.
Because I did it for reissuing my wife's passport as name got changed after marriage and Bingo we got normal passport (not a tatkal) in 5 days after appointment.
I will advice you all don't be prey of agent as I contacted one of agent from Lalbagh who demanded Rs.1500 as commission to get Normal quota passport in 3 weeks. Agents can't do anything as there is no scope for them except they can get online appointment for you, which you can also avail two day after making challan payment at SBI Branch.
Try to login after 6.15 pm till 7 pm for BLR PSK appointment. Only thing you need to remember whatever information provided in Passport Form should be same in your original documents for instance Age, Name, Parent & Spouse Name, Address etc.
If you have all required documents(Originals as well as Photocopies with self attested)
1.Identity Card that are shown on PSK site (proper name with clear picture)
2.Bangalore address proof for at-least 1 year (either 2 Gas Receipts of current year and last year OR mobile phone stamped bills for two months for current year and last year OR 1 year stamp sealed bank statements OR electric bill or any other that are shown on PSK site)
3.Birth Certificate (whose birth year after 1989 AD)
4.10th School Certificate for first time applier as a age proof.
5.If you want to add spouse name or name change after then Marriage Certificate OR Annexure "D" affidavit required (https://passport.gov.in/cpv/ANNEXURED_woman.htm)
You have to apply for passport online through https://passportindia.gov.in to fill your information and get online appointment after challan payment. Then the process is very smooth and faster without any glitches.
