Real passionate.. . Review on Passions - Ghulam Ali

My mom knew that I like ghazals so one day she bought this album called passion for me. I told her that I like jagjit's ghazals and never tried ghulam ali's

then I thought, when cassette is at home, why shouldn't I try to listen to this ghazals?? and I listened to this album. initially I felt bore as I had voice of jagjit in my mind but then as I kept on listening to ghulam ali, I found his voice good. even this album has excellent lyrics and good for everyone.

I like ghazal kabhi kitabon mein phool rakhna very much in this album.

it is a ghazal for lovers.

I am writing its' shayaris here.

kabhi kitabon mein phool rakhna,

kabhi darakhton pe naam likhna ( darakhto = stone)

hame bhi yaad hai aaj tak woh,

nazar se harf-e-kayam likhna

( write ghazals by eyes)

woh chand chehre woh baheki baten,

sulagte din the mahekti raten,

woh chhote chhote se kagazon par

mohobbaton ke payam likhna ( payam = message)

gulab chehro se dil lagana

woh chupke chupke nazar milana

woh aarzuo ke khwab gunna,

woh kissa e na tamam likhna.

and I think ghulam ali is called ghazal king of all ghazal singers.. and frankly speaking I consider both jagjit and ghulam ali both ghazal samrat..
