I first came to know about this restaurant quite by accident!(as usual with all the good things in my life!!). I had just re-located to Bangalore and had convinced my wife to check out the pub world on Residency Road. As any Bangalorean knows, parking anywhere near the Pub World is absolutely out of question and I had luckily managed to squeeze my car into a little lane near Pub World. We got out and saw this ok looking restaurant in this lane. We didnt bother too much and headed straight to Pub World.
Being a weekend, the pub was just too crowded(I realized that maybe we were finally getting senile!!). Wifey was in no mood to sit in some teeny weeny corner in that already crowded place and manage to convince me(dont they always??!) that it wasn't such a hot idea anyway. So, off we went to our car. The thought of hunting for another joint and looking for parking space all over again was too daunting!!. We thought ''Well, we might as well check this one out''. And in we went.
Believe me I have'nt regretted that one bit to date!. The place is got a great ambience and great service. The first thing which strikes you is the beautiful decor, the perfect lighting and the beautiful bar in the middle. The a/c is perfect. The service impeccable.
No-one is in hurry to make you order. The waiters hang around discreetly after handing you the menu card. The atmosphere is definitely laissez faire. Nice soothing music in the background.
We had just re-located from Andhra. We thought lets just try how the Andhra food is made in Karnataka. Believe me that we were impressed with the spread. The portions are really huge!! The service prompt and impeccable. The the taste absolutely out of this world!! I was so impressed with this restuarant that when one of my pals visited me from South Africa, I took her all the way to this one!! needless to say she left with great respect for indian food.
Regarding other aspects...I think this is one of the places you should go when you are not in a hurry to grab something and shove it down the throat!!. I'm not sure about is reservations are neccessary. The only problem I can see is that there could be some problems in parking your car. The parking area is limited. But,every time I have been there, the security guy out there has always managed to point out some ingeneous way to park the car!!

but I suppose on a weekend, this could be a problem.....
the cost too is not heavy on the pocket. On the whole an absolutely delightful place! Check it out!
