Best talent but........ Review on Pakistan Cricket Team

Pakistani cricket (I do not want to use word team)has one of the best talent available in the world. And this is the situation for quite some time now.

I still remember a coment by INDIAN cricketer-turned-commentator during the world cup in Australia, when Pakistan played England. He said...''This is the fight between talent and professionalism and I wish talent wins!''

But still, if ine sees the results produced by Pakistani cricket team during last few years one wonders as to whare is the talent?

With opening talent like Imran Nazir and Taufiq Omar ready to step into Saeed Anwar's shoes, Azhar Mehmood already a force to reckon with as a all rounder, battery of pacemen ready to burst on the scene and talented spinners like Saqlain and Shoiab....Talent has never been in short supply.

But............

This but has been plaguing Pakistan for very long. Betting controversies, politics of cricket and non-cricket, politics inside and outside the team, inconsistent performances, injuries to players .... the list just goes on.

Let us just hope that Pakistan is able to overcome all this very soon and we see India-Pakistan world cup final.

Nothing can be more satisfying, more rewarding and more paying for all of us (including ICC)!
