Here it is the very first product from the house of The Moving Pictures. Manisha has arrived on the scene of film industry as a film producer. Wish her all the luck. Now, we do not have much information about the movie, but how about checking out the music. Lets if Manisha has done innovation with her movie’s music, tunes and compostions. She has chosen Bapi- Tutul for the generating tunes and Sandeep Nath to Pen down https://lyrics.

Producer: Manisha Koirala

Lyrics: Sandeep Nath

Music Director: Bapi- Tutul

Bindass (Vasundhara Das)- It is a nice Disco song…well does not truly epitomize Disco culture. Not as good as “It’s the time to Disco…” from KHNH. It is fast paced and as we see in the promos it has been shot in a Discotheque, so it is! Quite a bindaas number though u might just end up singing it by the end of the song…watch out!

Demand (Ila Arun)- It’s been long since we last heard Ila. Here she is in a typical Rajsthani nautanki geet. Well that’s what sounds to me like. No, it is not like the other rajasthani-filmee-item numbers you have. The song does sound different in the treatment and is very Ila Arun, if you have heard her albums you would know. The word demand sounds very unique with the rajasthani instruments.

Hai re hai tera ghoongta (Remix) (Kunal Gunjawala, Soumya Raoh)- We have heard this one before. It is a nice funky remix. People have heard and appreciated it last year. Wonder why it is in this album? Well it may be a part of the script. Who knows? Aren’t remixes part of our lives NOW!!?!?!?

Helen’s dance mix (Remix) (Swastika, Vivek Mushraan, Pandit Sukhdev Chaturvedi)- VIVEK MUSHRAAN?? Remember this name? Oh boy! He was a part of Manisha’s first movie as an actress and now he is here as a part of her first movie as a producer. Hmmmm…it is a nice mix of all the Helen numbers and does sound good enough for you to tap your feet on. However, I guess we have all played and danced on too many remix albums of Helen songs, so can part with it. Why Helen remixes? There are already so many of them available in the market. May be even this one goes with the script…it just goes on.

Paisa Vasool (Hamza Faruqi)- I like his voice. Yes, listen to the song and you would agree. The only thing is that the song gives a very Sandeep Chowta and Vishal feel to it. Remember the ''makdee'' song in Makdee and Dhanda hai par ganda hai…in Company. It is different. Also it has sounds like the songs of Bhoot. Yeah! It has the cool lyrics to its credit. Cool attitude on the lyricists part. Nice job Mr. Nath.

Paisa Vasool (Sunidhi Chauhan)- Here she arrives after Bhoot. As I told you that it has the feel of the songs of Bhoot. Once you hear out Sunidhi’s version the similarities get clearer. She scores over the male playback singer’s version. Wow!! She sounds cool, hip and very ‘PaisaVasool’. The director in me (my alter ego) says that this must have been used during the beginning of the movie or as a background score.

Rukte Chalte (Shankar Mahadevan)- Are these guys best pals or they were together in college. This track is also following the music notes of Sandeep or Salim& Suleiman. Bapi- Tutul originality is the name of the Game. The sounds used are nice, but what about the song…i guess the duo B&T will do better with background score. They have used guitar (nice rock passion) very appropriately, but the songs do not have the novelty required.

Sabse Bada rupaiya (remix)- I like this remix. It will definitely bring back the phrase “The whole thing is that ki bhaiya sabse bada rupaiya..” good job! Very very techno beat and yet manages to keep the original feel. By the way Darlings, this one also has some bhangra to its credit. Kamaal kardita…listen to this freaky number and just FREAK out! Bapi – Tutul along with background you can also try hands on remixes. Approved!

Yadon mein (Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan)the song started with “Yadon..” I thought it is “yadon ki baraat…” that is how the singer starts in the word Yadon as it was in that “Yadon ki baraat”. Sounds like romantic ballad. Is it? It is, but then again a little jaded. Been there done that! There is no romantic song that is completely original, now. As there have been so many compositions. Yet, Shreya and Shaan try to keep up with whatever has been given to them. They do justice with the singing part. Singing pa alone can't save the song music is also essential. The tune has nothing new to offer. Lot of “khawaab”ing, as far as the lyrics are concerned. Sandeep nath could have played with the words a little, guess he chose to stick to the roots.

Can’t say if the album defines the title and justifies it, which is Paisa Vasool. The sounds are not that fresh. The Bindaas song and the sabse badaa rupaiya song are the best of the lot. You should buy it or not? Well I leave that decision to you. Try and listen to it on radio and se if you want. Whatever is mentioned above is solely what I feel. Right now what I feel is that “Sabsey badaa rupaiya”.I hope that movie is fun and here’s wishing Manisha all the best for her first venture. Hope the movie is “Total Paisa Vasool”.

Be a good pal and write down a few words....and rate it. Thanks for readin it. Luv ya all!
