Frankly, the other side of the shore always appears greener. Even more so, a extremely good-looking wife once to you becomes a just a ''pass'' after some time. And same goes with your Car ownership too and you always want to be with the other one (beautiful though) for a change. I will first give my first impression initially & then some personal experiences. You will be enticed/impressed by it's ''Prowling Cat'' like front-look & thick pods(tyres). Very comfortable ride & decently spaced for a mid-sized family. Power, tough exterior & a decent interior are one of it's strong point. Owning it for nearly three years have not given me single major complaint. Had an extremely testing time once. The trip to udaipur lead us to a major traffic blockade. We had a detour to an extremely rough patch of road with only loose soil & big stones with hilly narrow terrain of almost 15 KMs and with 51/2 persons with an average weight of 70 kgs & luggage of 35kgs was not less meaner either . It was unbelievable experience. Though the suspension is on the softer side the bottom tends to touch few bumps, it pleasure to cruise on rough patch even at much higher speeds unimaginable in other cars, without causing discomfort to the backs of the passengers. Gives decent mileage if driven with little wise improvisations (like releasing the pedal much before you normally do for slowing down/adjusting to traffic speed there by minimising braking; Choosing the higher drives/gears as power is available at a lower RPM). Also because of its compactness at right places, you get a feeling of driving a smaller car (Note the smaller engine bay compared to other cars, compacted sides without square edges & the taller height & taller boot space). And it costs just under 6.5lacs on road in Gujarat. Best deal as far as Gujarat is concerned.
