Hi Im Mr.X From Chennai, We just purchased a Onida Split AC 1.0 Ton.Due to drainage water logging in our street canals, Carbon is formed in the coil of the Indoor Unit.Our AC mechanic told that this coil is low cadder so it will rusted soon.Not even completed 2yrs.PAst month there was a problem that it was affected by carbon and the gas was leaked.Cooling effect has been cut off and we repaired it for RS.3000.
For 1 month it feels good but today we checked and came to know that the gas was again leaked.though it had not completed 1.5yrs, it is facing many problems.Due to Economy Onida Cheats the Customers and the poor manufacture of the company leads to failure.So Don't ever buy Onida AC.Thanking you.
