This is the first book in my life which stayed with me for all night(expect some 100’s of other books which I studied in last 16 years of schooling and engineering .) Frankly speaking this book kept me away from my daily schedule for few couple of hours.
About Author:
Chetan Baghat*(born in Delhi in 1974)is now a well know personality .Only 2 books, rock the youths.Really very smart writer, will keep you pasted on the book. His first novel, "Five Point Someone", came out in May 2004 I think that was in the list of the Indian bestseller lists . Chetan Baghat has won Society Young Achiever's award in .2004 and the Publisher's recognition award in 2005.
Synopsis:
“6 friends are selling home appliances to the US from a call centre in India. They have serious issues of the heart. Shyam(our hero) was dumped by the girl(priyanka). Miss Esha wants to be a model .Vroom wants to change the world and buy some cool bikes and cars. But he just hate working for those dump amiricans. Radikha, a married women, just found out that her so called loving husband has got one more ladyfinger . This is a romantic comedy of six friends kicking against the system, against their boss, and against each other. Then they decide to."
Story line:
It’s the story of 6 person( 3 boys and 3 ladies) .All of them are working in a call centre.The complete book in on that particular night when they got a call from GOD.
Before this phone call everybody in the call centre has some kind of mental disturbance in his/her head. For each person there is some kind of unfortunate stuff prepared by Chetan.But after that Phone call there point of view to life changes and within few minute now they wee full of confidence.Well it will be better if you read it yourself than expecting me to produce complete picture.It a beautiful story with all sort of taste, romance, thrill .but non –action tour.
Right now I am going through his First book “Five Point Someone” .People says that Earth is circular, the ending point for someone else could be starting point for me, so I began with 2nd book and now going through 1st one.
