Oliver Twist is a famous novel written by Charles Dickens in the year 1839. This was the author's second novel. The story centers on orphan named Oliver Twist, born in a workhouse and sold into apprenticeship with an undertaker.
The story revolves about a child, whose mother had died, and then he was sent to a workhouse. Oliver was an innocent boy in the whole novel which is the very attractive character in the novel.
When he was at the age of eleven he was sold as an apprentice, but somehow tactically he escaped from there. In his way to London, he met a boy called Dodger and then ended up with Fagin, the leader of a gang of thieves, who teaches children how to steal.
Fortunately, also found people who took good care of him and helped him with some issues that he had faced. With my opinion the novel is very interesting and it makes us that we want to read it again and again.
The fat which attracted me the most is, the way Fagin tried to change Oliver, but the way he stayed as an innocent boy is the most attractive part.
And among all the other characters my favorite one is Mr. Brownlow, who took care of Oliver and loved him despite the things he had done.
Another favorite part is when Oliver was wrongly accused of robbery which he hasn't done and the way Mr, Brownlow took Oliver to his own house just because he was sick.
This novel is extremely effective, especially for young readers. Language is beautifully evacuated. It is simple and lucid. It is a novel that talks about serious issues, it is a mystery story and some chapters can be compared with horror-fiction also.
