I accidentally bought these plain green whole olives(when I actually wanted to buy pitted stuffed ones) from the online grocery store localbanya. It is an imported product, from Spain(well, its olives after all!).
This one is pickled in brine - water and salt, some other brands have olives in vinegar. The jar of 450gm costs Rs. 160/- a good price as compared to many other brands. I found the quality good, the olives were nice tasting and firm-crisp like.
Green olives, due to their storage in water-salt, obviously have more amount of sodium - the primary difference between green and black olives. Otherwise for the taste, I couldn't really find much of a difference. It has a light tangy flavour that feels great in salads and sandwiches. For an infrequent salad maker like me - this could last at least 6 months - under refrigeration that is. But next time I want to buy pitted or de-seeded olives.
